2 Months
Kaylee is now two months and the time is just flying by. Everyone told me that it would but I really didn't understand just how fast it would go. It seems like we have been really busy the past few weeks, but things should start to slow down some for Kaylee and I. I am so fortunate to be able to stay home with her until January. School started back up yesterday and I can't imagine if I would have had to go back then.
Kaylee had her two month check up yesterday. She was 10 lbs. 15 oz and 22 3/4 inches long. She got her shots and was absolutely great. She cried of course but by the time I held her, she had stopped and by the time we got to the car she was already smiling again. We were so proud of her. I think it was definitely harder on mommy and daddy than it was on her.
Next weekend we will be traveling to Illinois for a wedding. It will be the first time that we stay overnight in a hotel. We really have been working hard on getting a solid routine so I think it could be interesting staying somewhere else and having her go back to sleeping in her pack n play. She has been sleeping in her crib all by herself for over 2 weeks now.
Its so nice to be able to get out and do things with her. She is getting so big and loves to be going all the time. We love to take walks, swing outside, shop, go out to eat, and play on the floor. This summer has been amazing and we are so excited about what is still to come!
